Slowhand & Gomer
Suburban slowjam blues.

Some time during the disintegration of Elektravision, Gomer, who had been introduced to the Granny by Max Edward during the recording of Melting Hand (see the Elektravision section), approached The Granny to participate in a project he called Bluesfest. The idea was to get a whole bunch of his friends who share a love for old Blues together in a room to come up with and record some songs. Gomer had everything required besides a rhythm section and a way to record it all. The Granny packed up some gear, called former Elektravision bassist Mark McDonald and joined up with Adam Cook (guitar), Gomer Pyle (guitar) and Matt Hartley (vocals) in Gomer's basement. The results included The Mover, The Rambler and a punkish cover of Bad Moon Rising.

Gomer and The Granny became good friends and later collaborated on another recording session, this time in The Granny's basement, which produced Spit On and a ridiculous cover of Hey Joe.
