Pacific Trash Vortex |
Poppified noise/drone rockers with shoegaze leanings. Started by the infamous Mounsey who originally intended to round out his solo Dwarf Star project with a full band, PTV evolved into an entirely differant beast. Graham Hancock was tapped as a second guitar, Savino M for bass, Granny on drums, capped off with Andre Theriault singing. Gigwhores until the end, playing shows at finger-blistering frequency in Toronto and around Southern Ontario, they somehow managed to squeeze out 2 records in the less-than-a-year they were together: Lonely Boy Motel, the raw demo EP, recorded on a cassette 4 track in Mounsey's living room and released as a limited edition cassette, as well as the more polished studio-recorded self-titled CDR. | |
